The Office of the San Diego City Attorney has an opening for an Assistant City Attorney (ACA), Executive Operations. The ACA will report directly to the City Attorney and is a member of the City Attorney’s Executive Team. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations, including human resources, budget, accounting, information technology, and contract management. The ideal candidate has substantial experience practicing employment law, particularly relating to FMLA, ADA, FEHA, PDA, Title VII, USERA, and wage and hour, and experience working with or for public agencies.
Applicants must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of California at the time of hiring and possess a J.D. degree from a law school approved by the American Bar Association. Successful applicants must pass a criminal background and reference checks. Employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process.
