Surfin’ Santa arrives at Seaport Village in San Diego Harbor on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 1 pm this year. In addition to Surfin’ Santa’s Arrival, there is a parade along the boardwalk, live street performers and lots of kid’s crafting activities.
Surfin’ Santa’s Arrival via watercraft is fun and free for all ages, and has been named one of the 10 best Santa sightings by USA Today. In true California style, Surfin’ Santa dons colorful board shorts and Hawaiian shirts. Santa poses for free photos with kids of all ages on his giant surfboard while catching a six-foot wave.
Seaport Village also combines Small Business Saturday with Surfin’ Santa’s Arrival, so you can patronize local vendors and find some unique Christmas gifts. Browse more than 50 diverse shops and have a bite to eat at 17 different eateries around the village.
