SDFF TechWORKS Training Program

TechWorksThe San Diego Futures Foundation (SDFF) is giving a chance to A+, N+ and MCITP Windows 7 Support Technicians and people who have work experience in information technology to participate in the TechWORKS Training Program.

Participants will be trained on topics that will lead to certifications in COMPTIA Network Plus and MCITP Windows 7 Support Technician Training. These allow the participants to land a job in the future as Help Desk technician or Desktop support technician, positions that typically support employees within a company or organization in terms of configuring and supporting laptops and desktops, supporting users on their computers, basic network troubleshooting, supporting desktop applications, and providing clients/customers with first tier support within the company’s IT organization.

These technology-based classes are open to adults ages 18 and above who have lost their job at any point since 2008 and are now under-employed or have been unemployed for 2 weeks or longer. Participants must first complete a screening and application process to become eligible for this program.

For inquiries, please contact Jerry Julian at (619)269-1684 ext. 219 or send an email to Follow this link to apply for the SDFF TechWORKS Program.
