The ITU World Triathlon San Diego will be returning on its second year on April 18 to 20, 2013 following its unparalleled success last year. The best triathletes all over the world will once again have a chance to showcase their skill in a competition in Sunny San Diego.
There will be various distances available for participants at the event including Sprint, Olympic, Relay Olympic, Aquabike, and Paratriathlon. Each group will have three winners who will be awarded at the end of the event.
The participants will be receiving a shirt, a virtual and real goodie bag, a swim cap and complete race number system, as well as a finisher’s medal.
The race weekend will have the following schedule:
- Friday, April 19, 2013
3:30 p.m. - Elite Women Race
- Saturday, April 20, 2013
6:30 a.m. - Age Group Olympic-Distance
8:45 a.m. - Age Group Sprint
4:00 p.m. - Elite Men Race
